We want to give a HUGE thank you to our AoMF families for their generous donations of non-perishable items for this year's food drive! All of the items are loaded up and have been sent to GraceWorks Ministries in south Franklin. It feels amazing to give back to the community during such a difficult time. Here's a bit of information about this ministry.
Neighbor serving Neighbor, by the power of God’s grace.
GraceWorks Ministries, Inc. was founded in 1995, when area concerned citizens and faith leaders came together and decided Williamson County needed a central place to send people who needed help with food, clothing and financial assistance. By pooling church resources with private and public sectors, GraceWorks was able to provide more help for many needs to better serve our community, rather than duplicating efforts.
Today, GraceWorks has expanded upon these relationships to establish a referral network with other agencies to provide help for immediate needs and long-term resources. GraceWorks has four program areas that make up the acronym F.I.S.H. — family support, instructional programs, seasonal needs and hunger prevention.
We are a United Way of Williamson County agency and a member of Community Foundation of Middle TN, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle TN, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, and the Center for Nonprofit Management.
GraceWorks Ministries has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the most-utilized charity evaluator in America. We have also earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar who provides information on 2.5 million nonprofit organizations. Both of these ratings are the highest awarded.
